More than 300 guests gathered June 6 in the showroom of the new Toyota of Cedar Park facility to celebrate the opening of the dealership with a ribbon cutting.

The facility, part of the Cavender Auto Family group, opened for business May 1. During the ribbon cutting ceremony inside the 80,000-square-foot dealership, Julie Herrera, dealer principal, partners Stephen and Rick Cavender of Cavender Auto Family, Cedar Park Mayor Matt Powell were among those who spoke during the event.

“We are excited to celebrate the opening of our newest dealership – Toyota of Cedar Park,” Herrera said. “We look forward to delivering exceptional service one guest at a time.”

The new facility, which spans 20-plus acres, took 10 months to complete with the help of local labor and materials. Toyota has created more than 140 new jobs in the community.

The LEED-certified facility features 40 service bays, a full-service car wash, alignment check, service pick-up, delivery shuttle and service loaner vehicles.

“The team at Toyota of Cedar Park is made up of community members that go above and beyond, sure to create a unique and enjoyable experience for customers,” said Jeff Parent, Gulf States Toyota President. “We are truly proud to have them as part of our Toyota family.”

The dealership is located at 5600 Toll 183A in Cedar Park and includes a customer lounge, a dog park, kid’s zone, boutique and Starbucks café.
