We Are Blood, formerly The Blood and Tissue Center of Central Texas and the sole provider of blood to Central Texas hospitals, is experiencing a shortage of Type O-negative and -positive blood, a universal blood type that can be transfused to any patient. 2. Police and sheriff’s office partner for self-defense class
Cedar Park Police and Williamson County sheriff’s office offer two sessions of a self-defense class for women. If you cannot make it this weekend, the class will also be held Sept. 1 at the same time and place. Open to women ages 18 and older.

5. Anderson Mill and Robinson Museum open for visitors
