Nov. 20, 25-26, Dec. 2-3 - ‘Goodbye Charlie’
Presented by the Way Off Broadway Community Players, the 1960s comedy follows Charlie, a womanizer with a foul mouth and taste for booze. Shot by a jealous husband, Charlie falls out a porthole and is lost at sea only to find himself returned as an attractive blonde woman for a second chance at life and love. His best friend is staying at his house as he puts Charlie’s affairs in order, and finds himself an unwilling helper in Charlie’s new plan to marry into money. 3 p.m. (Nov. 20), 8 p.m. (Nov. 25-26, Dec. 2-3). $10 (age 10 and younger), $15 (students, age 60 and older, military and first responders), $20 (ages 11-59). Nov. 20 - Restorative workshop
Hosted by Trybe Yoga, the workshop includes prop-supported yoga postures, essential oils, breath work and guided relaxation intended to ease guests into a state of peace. Nov. 21-23 - Lone Star Showcase
Four mid-major programs compete in the second annual NCAA Division I men’s college basketball tournament. Two defending champions headline–University of Arkansas at Little Rock and St. Bonaventure University. Now - May 2017 - Pharaoh exhibit
Texas Museum of Science & Technology hosts The “Tutankhamun Exhibition,” which features the pharaoh of 18th Dynasty Egypt. The exhibit includes 131 replicas of Tutankhamun’s sacred and personal possessions as well as artifacts from the period of his reign.
