Because there were no contested races, Bee Cave canceled an election that would have occurred May 4.

Council members Andrew Clark, Kara King and Marie Lowman were all up for re-election, but Lowman opted not to run again, leaving one additional candidate to fill Lowman’s seat: Andrea Willott, a Bee Cave Planning and Zoning Commission member.

Along with Clark and King, Willott was declared elected to office during the Feb. 26 City Council meeting and will be issued certificates of election following the time the election would be canvassed, according to a city document.
