Rollingwood Park master plan survey now online

The Rollingwood Park Commission is looking for resident feedback in order to update its park master plan, and on Friday posted an online survey to the city’s website. The survey will be available through Feb. 3.

Filing for local elections open until Feb. 17

Filing for local spring elections began Jan. 18, and those interested in running have until 5 p.m. on Feb. 17. to file for candidacy.

Bee Cave to consider approving Hamilton Pool Road project at meeting Tuesday

Bee Cave City Council will consider both annexing as well as approving a development proposal on one of the city’s last large lots—a 128-acre tract south of Hamilton Pool Road and near Cueva Drive–after the item was continued from council’s Jan. 10 meeting. City council members heard from the developer’s representative, Aaron Googins, on Dec. 6 and 13.

Eanes ISD Board of Trustees meets Tuesday for the first time in 2017

The Eanes ISD Board of Trustees will have a school board meeting for the first time this year Tuesday at the district's administration building, 601 Camp Craft Road, Austin. The public meeting is expected to begin at approximately 7 p.m.

The board is scheduled to receive updates on district finances and class sizes, and will hear the 2015-2016 Texas Academic Performance Report.

Moe’s to open Wednesday in Bee Cave

Moe’s Southwest Grill, 4025 S. RR 620, Ste. 200, Bee Cave, is set to open Wednesday in the Hill Country Galleria area, next to the IBC Bank at the corner of RR 620 and West Hwy. 71. The fast-casual franchise features burritos and burrito bowls, tacos, quesadillas, salads and nachos.

West Lake Hills City Council to discuss more traffic calming measures on Wednesday

West Lake Hills City Council will discuss and possibly approve traffic calming plans for Laurel Vally Road, Redbud Trail, Ridgewood Road and Yaupon Valley Road at its  meeting on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
