St. David’s HealthCare acquired The Austin Diagnostic Clinic on April 1, according to a statement released April 4.

ADC will maintain its name, physicians and employees. St. David’s HealthCare expects to incorporate ADC's operations into its health care system, and a new board of directors comprising ADC and St. David's physicians will oversee ADC’s operations.

“In order for us to continue providing care to our growing community, we felt that alignment with another entity was critical,” ADC CEO Dr. Ghassan Salman said in the statement.

ADC's main clinic is located inside St. David's North Austin Medical Center, and it has nine locations in Central Texas:

  • Westlake | 1250 S. Capital of Texas Hwy., West Lake Hills


The acquisition also includes ADC’s nephrology satellite offices in Bastrop, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Kyle, Lockhart, Luling, Marble Falls and San Marcos.
