Independent living includes social activities and community spaces but sometimes no meal or medical services.
Assisted living offers services from medical to housekeeping. Units are often included in facilities that also offer memory care. Each facility offers planned activities for residents.
Memory care offers services such as reminiscence therapy that work to restore or maintain as much memory as possible. Heightened care is available to residents who have different kinds of dementia.
Hospice care is offered for those facing diagnoses that leave them with six months or less to live. The person must decide against further curative treatment. Hospice staff work to care for an individual in his or her last months of life in the most comfortable way.

The van program serves the region to the southwest and west of the Colorado River, including West Lake Hills, Rollingwood, Lost Creek, Lakeway, The Hills, and other neighborhoods in Oak Hill and south of Lake Travis. The van drives to the Bee Cave H-E-B on Monday mornings and the Westlake H-E-B on Monday afternoons. Friday mornings are reserved for the H-E-B at the Y in Oak Hill. The program is part of the city of Austin Parks and Recreation Department’s Senior Programs division. Services are provided Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Drivers provide curb-to-curb service, and assistance is provided when needed. Adults age 60 and older are eligible to participate. The company recently announced the opening of a new location to serve Austin, the Arboretum, Great Hills, Far West, Spicewood, Northwest Hills, Rollingwood, Westlake, Westlake Hills, Bee Cave, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, Driftwood, Cedar Park, Steiner Ranch and the surrounding communities. Trained team members can handle organizing, packing, decluttering, moving, resettling, in-person and online estate sales, liquidations and preparing homes for the market.

The meal-delivery program provides home-delivered prepared meals for seniors and other homebound residents throughout the Greater Austin area and provides case-management services to individuals enrolled in the Meals on Wheels program. Each recipient receives one hot meal per day during the week and may have an option of receiving supplemental frozen meals for the weekend.
