Workers Defense Project is a membership-based organization that empowers low-income workers to ensure fair employment through education, direct services, community organizing and strategic partnerships. Volunteers are needed to assist workers who have not been paid for their work, to help in the office, provide English/Spanish translation and to help support community organizing efforts. Spanish speakers are highly needed. WDP holds a volunteer orientation the first Tuesday of every month at 5604 Manor Road.
