The Williamson County Justice of the Peace Court Precinct 3 office will begin offering curbside services, according to a June 6 news release.

The temporary change will help reduce the spread of the coronavirus while also taking into consideration the safety and health of residents and county employees, the release said. But the court wanted to continue to offer services during the pandemic, so the court will begin to offer curbside from 8-10 a.m. at 100 Wilco Way, Georgetown, it said.

"People feel compelled to come to court to take care of business, so we want to extend a safe avenue for those who aren't ready to come inside by offering curbside service,” Williamson County Justice of the Peace Judge Evelyn McLean said in the release.

Customers will be able to drive up and make a credit or debit card payment without having to come into the building. In addition to making payments, residents also can drop off paperwork, such as driver's safety paperwork and community service hours, the release said.

The court will continue to offer curbside services based on the public response, the release said. For more information, visit www.wilco.org/jp3.
