Of the 588 confirmed cases, 345 have recovered, the report said.
Currently, 15 patients are hospitalized, seven are in intensive care and five are on a ventilator, it said.
The WCCHD also reported that 54% of beds and 68% of ventilators are available.
In addition, the county reported a 6% positive rate of tests, meaning 6% of tests administered have returned positive, per the report.
The county has administered 9,837 tests, according to Texas Department of State Health Services data. Totals include tests performed by public labs and nonpublic labs reported electronically and nonelectronically, according to its website. Some private lab tests may be duplicates, it said.
With Williamson County’s estimated population of 590,551, according to U.S. Census Bureau data, about 1.67% of the population has been tested.
On May 27, the county reached 584 confirmed cases.
