The holiday's are officially upon us, and there are several things Georgetown residents need to know: Tree recycling City of Georgetown residents can recycle Christmas trees, boxes and wrapping paper this year.
  • Trees can be placed on the curb during regularly scheduled yard trimming pick up days.
  • Cardboard boxes and wrapping paper are recyclable and can be placed in your recycling cart or in a box next to it. Bows and ribbons cannot be recycled.
  • Residents can drop off trees from Dec. 26-Jan. 31 at City of Georgetown Collection Station, 250 W.L. Walden Drive.

Inner Loop, Georgetown, will be open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., closed on Christmas Day, and will be open New Year’s Eve 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and will be closed New Year’s Day.
