WHAT WE REPORTED Restaurant and bar The Little Darlin’ opened in late April 2016, featuring small plates, cheese boards, beers, and a backyard with horseshoe pits and a stage for occasional live music performances.

THE LATEST Executive Chef Russell Dougherty joined the team in August and said he fused “higher-end fine dining with a dive bar.” The Southern-inspired menu is ever-evolving, he said, with farm-to-table entrees added weekly.

WHAT'S NEXT The Little Darlin’ will expand its hours to include lunch service in early spring, according to co-owner Brian Buscemi. Beginning March 1, the restaurant will host live music performances during brunch service on Saturdays and Sundays.
