Georgetown Parks and Recreation will offer children’s camps during the winter holiday break. Pricing and schedules vary for each program.

Participants can select from three camps:

  • Camp Goodwater is offered on Dec. 27, 28 and 31; Jan. 2-4 and 7; and Feb. 15 and 18. The camp runs from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. for children ages 5-11. The camp includes a variety of activities, such as gym games, trips to local parks and seasonal arts and crafts. Daily fees are $35 for Georgetown residents and $45 for nonresidents.

  • Junior Tennis Academy is offered on Dec. 31 and Jan. 2-4, from 9-11 a.m. for children ages 7-18. Ages 7-10 will focus on developing a solid foundation of stroke development providing the child with the skills to reach the next level. Ages 11-18 will focus on learning, consolidating and perfecting the basics of the game. Daily fees are $20 for Georgetown residents and $25 for nonresidents.

  • Volleyball Camp is offered from Jan. 2-4 from 9 a.m.-noon for children ages 7-14. The camp covers the rules of play for beginners and defense and positions for more advanced players. Fees are $75 for Georgetown residents and $95 for nonresidents.
