1. Runoff elections in San Marcos and Buda will be decided on Tuesday. For polling places and times, click here. Polls close at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Community Impact Newspaper will be covering election results as they come in Tuesday night.

2. Hays County hosts a public meeting to discuss planned construction on FM 150 on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Dripping Springs High School, 940 Hwy. 290, Dripping Springs. The county is has been conducting two studies examining FM 150. The first seeks to potentially realign FM 150 at Arroyo Ranch Road away from downtown Kyle to the intersection of I-35 and Yarrington Road. The second project will use community input to determine how the western portion of the road—from Arroyo Ranch to RR 12 in Dripping Springs—should look. Potential changes to that portion of the road include additional vehicle and bicycle lanes, sidewalks and aesthetic features.

Tuesday’s meeting will discuss the character plan for the portion of the road from Arroyo Ranch to RR 12. The plan will “identify near-, mid- and long-term improvements that can be implemented over time,” according to a county news release.

3. Hays County commissioners will discuss allocation of a $7.4 million disaster-recovery grant related to two floods in 2015. For more information about initial proposed funding allocations, click here. The meeting starts at 9 a.m. at the Hays County Courthouse, 111 E. San Antonio St., San Marcos.

4. The Buda Trail of Lights ends next weekend. The trail is open Thursday-Sunday from 6-10 p.m. The trail is free to attend, and free parking and shuttle service are available at Cabela’s, 15570 I-35, Buda. 5. The final Third Thursday Walkabout of the year takes place Thursday in downtown San Marcos. The event includes food, drinks, art, shopping and music at businesses and restaurants throughout San Marcos. Participating businesses include Frost Bank, Stinky Dawg, Aquabrew, Blue Moon Optical and others. The event takes place from 6-9 p.m. on the Square. The event is free.
