These recently opened and coming soon Austin restaurants have fresh-pressed juices, plant-based fare and dishes made from scratch on the menu.

1. Deep Purpl, a Brazilian-style acai bowl and smoothie shop originally from Chicago, opened its first Texas location at 2525 W. Anderson Lane, Ste. 125, Austin, on Oct. 14. 2. Revolución Coffee + Juice opened its first Austin location in October. Revolución has a full espresso bar, cold-pressed juices, housemade nut milks and mushroom-based drinks on the menu. It also has a full kitchen serving an assortment of vegan breakfast tacos, burritos, burgers and poke bowls. 3. Industry opened its second Austin location in October. The eatery has an expansive menu with “low-key healthy” Texas-influenced dishes all made from scratch, 30 draft beers, wine and cocktails. Industry is owned by Harlan Scott and Cody Taylor, who named their restaurant as an homage to people working in the service industry. Industry is located at 1211 E. 4. Nori, a locally owned plant-based Japanese restaurant, opened its doors to Ausintites in August. Nori has an entirely vegan menu with vegetable-based nigiri, rolls, and main entrees, such as eggplant katsu and ginger miso ramen. 5. Vegan Nom is partnering with Barrett’s Coffee to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant with the same name. The restaurant will open in the building that used to be Mediterranean eatery Phara’s. The menu will feature coffee drinks, frozen cocktails and draft beer from Barrett’s, and breakfast tacos, nachos and burritos from Vegan Nom.
