The Austin Pride Festival and Parade announced on Friday afternoon that it will be rescheduled due to the inclement weather forecasted this weekend as a result of Hurricane Harvey.

Paddle for Puppies also announced on Friday afternoon that the event will be rescheduled as a result of the hurricane. The new date is Sunday, September 10.

1. Countering Hate community discussion

2. The best bird tattoo in all of ATX

Blue Owl Brewing and the Travis Audobon Society host their second annual Avian Ink award ceremony, which recognizes the best bird-inspired tattoos around. The event is a celebration of the Golden Cheeked Warbler, an endangered species native to Central Texas. 3. Austin Pride turns 26
