Fuzzy's Taco Shop The third Fuzzy's Taco Shop for Austin opened recently at Midtown Commons on N. Lamar Boulevard.[/caption]

Big, red letters on the doors of the newest Fuzzy's Taco Shop location read, "Welcome to your new addiction."

That is exactly how Chuck Bush, president of the company, said he hopes customers feel after eating at the new Crestview restaurant.

"Our price point attracts students or people on a budget," Bush said. "Its a great product for an awesome price."

Fuzzy's third Austin location opened Jan. 15 at 7010 Easy Wind St., Ste. 100, with a large bar, indoor seating and an outside patio. The new location created about 50 jobs, Bush said.

Despite having Fuzzy's locations in nine states, Bush said he does not consider the taco shop to be a chain. Instead, he touts the taco shop start in Fort Worth and how the business grew throughout the country thanks to loyal customers who moved and demanded for Fuzzy's in their new cities.

Daniel Webb, a six-year Fuzzy's employee who now runs the new location, said he is excited to open the store after permit delays.

Another location of Fuzzy's Taco Shop at 2522 Guadalupe St. is temporarily closed to allow a new franchise owner to remodel the location. The re-opening is slated for the second week of February.
