Families gather for New Braunfels downtown Holiday Lighting and Santa’s Arrival event

The city of New Braunfels celebrated its annual Holiday Lighting and Santa’s Arrival event Nov. 17 in historic downtown New Braunfels.

The free event commemorates the spirit of the holiday season in the community by turning on 100,000 low-energy, sustainable LED lights and welcoming Santa Claus, who arrives on a vintage firetruck and takes photos with local children. The display lights stretch through the downtown area and will remain lit throughout the holiday season.
