1. The North Brushy Street streetscape project includes the reconstruction of two blocks of the road in Leander’s Old Town district. The project has faced multiple weather-related delays. The project is near completion, according to city spokesperson Mike Neu. Additional lighting, landscaping and asphalt still need to be installed but should be complete by the end of May.

2. The New Hope Drive extension project constructs four lanes from Cottonwood Creek Trail to Ronald Reagan Boulevard. The connection to Ronald Reagan opened in fall 2018, according to Cedar Park city documents. The final paving is scheduled to begin mid-May and will take about a week and a half to complete, according to city spokesperson Jennie Huerta.

3. Seward Junction improvements
Williamson County and Liberty Hill officials broke ground on Seward Junction improvements April 29. The project constructs a new two-lane roadway in preparation for a six-lane divided facility in the future, according to an April 30 press release from Williamson County. The project consists of two parts. The A) southeast portion goes from US 183 at CR 259 to SH 29 at CR 266. The B) southwest portion goes from SH 29 at CR 213 to US 183 at CR 259.

4. Bell Boulevard realignment
The Bell Boulevard realignment project will relocate the portion of Bell between Cedar Park Drive and south of Buttercup Creek Boulevard so that it aligns with Old Hwy. 183. Randall Leuders, senior project manager for the city of Cedar Park, said during an April 11 meeting that plans are being prepared for the Texas Department of Transportation to review and the city aims to get construction proposals in the fall. Construction is planned to start next spring, Leuders said.

5. Anderson Mill Road Phase 2
Anderson Mill Road Phase 2 includes the A) widening of Anderson Mill Road to four lanes from Cypress Creek Road to Zeppelin Drive. The project also includes the design and B) construction of two lanes between Gaspar Bend and RM 1431, according to Cedar Park city documents. During a meeting April 11, Cedar Park City Council voted unanimously to enter an agreement with Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. for the design of Phase 2.

6. Leander street rehabilitation
The 2019 Street Rehabilitation Project for the city of Leander includes pavement repairs on the following roads: A) Bagdad Road from CR 280 to around Live Oak Road; B) Halsey Drive from Bagdad to San Gabriel Parkway; C) Journey Parkway; D) Osage Drive from Quick Fort Drive to Lakeline Boulevard; and E) Horseshoe Drive to Lion Drive. The project also includes minor repairs of Crystal Falls Parkway, according to city documents. Leander City Council voted during a meeting April 18 to have construction company Texas Materials Group, Inc. construct the project.

7. Raider Way and East Woodview Drive improvements
Improvements to Raider Way and East Woodview Drive aim to improve traffic flow around Wiley Middle School and Rouse High School in Leander. The project widens the road to four lanes and adds sidewalks and turn lanes. The project should be advertised for bids in August and construction is estimated to begin in October, according to Neu.
