Thursday, Sept. 13
Austin Book Arts Center fundraiser

The Austin Book Arts Center hosts its third annual fall fundraiser, “I Saw the Future. There Are Books.” The event celebrates the center’s accomplishments over the past year and supports a fundraising campaign for a new creative space. Thunder in the Hills Percussion Invitational

Dripping Springs High School Band hosts its tenth annual Thunder in the Hills Percussion
Invitational. The contest features percussion units from Austin, San Antonio and Houston. Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center offers a dog-friendly weekend. Businesses including Woof Gang Bakery, South Park Animal Hosital and K9 Kenny Dog Training will be onsite, and the venue will host activities including a CPR for pets and people demonstration and yoga with your dog.
