Attend Church on a Trail

Berkeley United Methodist Church meets to pray, enjoy a short hike and a worship service with music and a message. An Easter egg hunt is held after the service. 4 p.m. Free.

The Austin International Poetry Festival returns

The event includes diverse themed poetry readings, open mics, workshops, music and poetry, anthology readings from dusk to dawn and a poetry symposium. Times vary. $35-$50. Various locations across Austin.

Sunset Valley elementary hosts annual Cheetah Fest

Buy native flowers and seeds at seasonal sale

Race in Kid’s Dash, 5K Run
The proceeds aid nearby community schools: Menchaca Elementary, Paredes Middle and Akins High schools. An awards ceremony occurs as soon as results are tallied. Registration begins 6:30 a.m. $15-$25. Menchaca Elementary School, 12120 Manchaca Road.

Take a business 101 class
