1. Senior Day at the Commemorative Air Force-CenTex Wing
The Hays Drive a Senior program and the Commemorative Air Force helps seniors step into the past with a tour of the World War II hangar and museum. All ages are welcomed.

2. Dunbar Heritage Association MLK Jr. Celebration
The Dunbar Heritage Association offers San Marcos residents a chance to celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. with books, art, videos and the opportunity to create a poster for the annual MLK Jr. walk on Monday.

3. Camp Gladiator community workout
For those trying to keep up with their New Year's fitness resolutions, Camp Gladiator hosts two, hour-long workout sessions. Participants must be 14 years and older and should bring water and an exercise mat.

5. "Enhance the Dream ~ Make it Real" 2018 MLK Jr. celebration
The Dunbar Heritage Association of San Marcos starts the MLK Jr. celebrations with a wreath-laying celebration between the LBJ and MLK drives crosswalk. Afterward, there will be a silent march to Greater Bethel Baptist Church. Other activities include a memorial program, entertainment hour and birthday celebration.
