The city of Alpharetta's Wills Park Pool is closed until further notice beginning Aug. 3 after a member of the pool staff tested positive for COVID-19, city officials announced on Facebook.

Officials said the individual did not have direct contact with the public, but pool staff will still be quarantined and/or tested for COVID-19, and the pool area will be intensely cleaned.

"The pool will be reopened only when we are confident that it is safe to do so," the Facebook post read.
