Big Blue Swim School, is expected to open June 22 on the Alpharetta and Johns Creek border after a delayed opening due to COVID-19.
Located at 10955 Jones Bridge Road, Ste. 121, Johns Creek, the swim school—which is the company's first Georgia location—offers swim lessons seven days a week for children ages six months to 12 years old, with four curricula of instruction spanning 11 different swim levels. Children progress to the next swim level as soon as they achieve the skills required to do so, according to a news release from Big Blue Swim School.
Additionally, the swim school will have wellness checks for each family during the check-in process and will cap student-to-teacher ratios for all classes to ensure proper social distancing, the release said. Swim instructors will be wearing face shields when possible to provide additional protection.
Those interested in signing up for lessons can receive a special, pre-opening rate of $12 for each of the first four lessons and $20 per lesson for the first six months after that, saving about 50%, according to the release. This offer is available until the facility opens June 22. Those interested can also schedule one free trial lesson when the school opens. 770-308-8227. www.bigblueswimschool.com/locations/johns-creek
