South City Kitchen at Avalon reopens May 14 for limited dine-in, takeout service

After nearly two months of remaining temporarily closed, South City Kitchen at Avalon will reopen May 14 at 5 p.m. for limited service. (Courtesy South City Kitchen)

After closing its doors March 17 due to the outbreak of COVID-19, South City Kitchen at Avalon will reopen beginning Thursday, May 14 for limited dine-in service and takeout, according to a May 14 press release from the restaurant's public relations representatives at Phase 3 Marketing & Communications.

The restaurant will be open Thu.-Sat. in addition to weekend brunch with the following limited hours.

  • Dinner: 5-10 p.m. Thu.-Sat.

  • Brunch: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sat.-Sun.


South City Kitchen is connected to The Hotel at Avalon, which has remained open during the pandemic and is still accepting overnight guests, according to the release.
