Milton City Council discusses final stages of Trail Prioritization Plan

Milton City Council members at their July 6 meeting discussed the Milton Trail Prioritization Plan, a project that has been in the planning stages for about a year to help find more trails and pedestrian-friendly areas in Milton.

Alpharetta Farmers Market to return downtown starting July 11

After postponing the April kickoff of the Alpharetta Farmers Market due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and shifting to a mini market version, the Alpharetta Farmers Market will return to downtown Alpharetta on the Town Green on July 11 from 9 a.m.-noon with adjusted health precautions in place, according to a press release from the farmers market July 7.

The pet store, which also has a location on Haynes Bridge Road in Alpharetta, offers dog and cat foods, bowls, treats, toys, wellness products, grooming supplies and other pet accessories as well as pet clothing and a dog-friendly bakery.

Milton resumes rental of city-owned outdoor facilities, fields July 6

Rentals of some city of Milton outdoor facilities and fields can resume July 6 for the first time in at least three months because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, according to a news release from the city July 2.

Calla Nails Spa to open in Alpharetta on July 10

Calla Nails Spa will open July 10 at 5304 Windward Parkway, Ste. 103, Alpharetta, with a grand opening from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Guests can receive 20% off any of the salon's services during July.
