JUST IN: Fulton County Schools pivots reopening to all virtual learning

Fulton County Schools will start the school year Aug. 17 in a universal remote learning fashion, per a live video announcement from FCS Superintendent Mike Looney July 16. The announcement comes after presenting extensive reopening plan guidelines and expectations for parents to select either in-person or individual remote learning for their children.

Indiehouse Modern Fragrance Bar opens on Alpharetta's Old Roswell Street

A new fragrance boutique, Indiehouse Modern Fragrance Bar, opened in downtown Alpharetta on July 2. Located at 26 Old Roswell St., Ste. 101, Alpharetta, Indiehouse features a custom mixing bar, DIY workshops and a retail space with 42 independent brands from around the world, according to a press release from the boutique.

Cafe De Bono now open in Alpharetta-Milton area

Cafe De Bono held its soft opening in late June at 631 N. Main St., Ste. 104, Alpharetta. The restaurant offers authentic, Italian-style food and drinks, including espresso, cappuccinos, macchiatos, soups, salads and sandwiches.
