Alpharetta City Council approves contract for inclusive community playground at Alpharetta Elementary School

Alpharetta City Council members and Mayor Jim Gilvin approved a contract between the city and Playsouth Playground Creators for a new inclusive community playground, located at Alpharetta Elementary School, at the May 4 council meeting.

Virtual public meeting open through May 25 for community input on trail connection between Alpha Loop Big Creek Greenway

Residents of the city of Alpharetta can send their input on some design aspects of Alpha Link—a multiuse trail which will connect the Alpha Loop, North Point Mall and the Big Creek Greenway—through a virtual public survey, set to expire May 25.



Alternate graduation ceremonies for Alpharetta, Cambridge, Milton high schools to be held in late May

Alternative graduation ceremonies for all Fulton County Schools high school campuses were announced May 5 during the FCS Board of Education work session. Milton High School will host its alternative graduation ceremony May 21, while Alpharetta and Cambridge high schools will host their ceremonies May 23.
