There are all kinds of events in Franklin and Brentwood this weekend thanks to the warm, sunny forecast.

May 16-18
Franklin Rodeo

Put on your boots and head down to the Williamson County Ag Expo to watch the rodeo competitions and special guests including Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey and Boogie the Dog. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. each night. Tickets at box office are $22 for adults, $12 for kids under age 12. Williamson County Ag Expo, 4215 Long Lane, Franklin. 615-595-1227.

Touch a Truck

Kids of all ages can check out police cars, trucks, tractors and more. Music and inflatables will be there, too. 5-8 p.m. Free. “No Horn Hour” for small children is from 5-6 p.m. Jim Warren Park, 705 Boyd Mill Ave., Franklin. 615-791-3217.

Beer Quest III

Hike Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary trails and collect tokens to redeem for beer samples from Jackalope Brewing Co. The M.L. Rose Food Truck will be there, and food is included in the ticket price. 21+ only. 10 a.m.-1 p.m. or 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. $35. Goldfish Swim School grand opening
