Learn about Korean papermaking

The Asia Society Texas Center will host Korean papermaking artist Aimee Lee, who will discuss her work in hanji, or Korean paper, and how it is made and how it is used. See a movie at the Space Center

Space Center Houston will host a screening of the blockbuster drama film, “Apollo 13”. Go to a jewelry show

The Mutt Strut event will take place at Cross Creek Ranch. Celebrate Japanese culture

Shop at a farmers market

Harvest Green Village Farm hosts a farmers market every week on Saturday. There will be vendors with locally-grown fruits and vegetables, eggs, meats and cheeses, as well as honey, preserved foods, flowers and plants. Enjoy a barbecue festival

The seventh annual Houston Barbecue Festival will be hosted at Humble Civic Center Arena, and will feature barbecue from smokehouses, such as Blood Bros.
