Moxies to open new location in Frisco

The construction of a new Moxies restaurant is scheduled to start at the end of July, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The details

According to the filing, construction of the new restaurant will cost about $800,000. The restaurant will take the former space of the City Works restaurant at The Star in Frisco.

Construction of the nearly 13,000 square-foot space is set to be completed by March 8, the filing states.

Moxies is a Canadian-based brand with locations in North Texas that include Southlake and Plano. The restaurant serves lunch, dinner, happy hour and has a late-night menu. Brunch is offered as well.
