Now in its seventh year, the Northeast Tarrant Transportation Summit, hosted by Tarrant County Commissioner Gary Fickes, has grown to become one of the biggest transportation events in Texas.

This year's summit will be Feb. 19 from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Hurst Conference Center, 1601 Campus Drive, Hurst. The cost of the event is $30 and registration may be done here.

With attendance reaching more than 500 people during the half-day event, the summit showcases a variety of speakers, as well as special topic panels, discussing the future of transportation in Tarrant County, the state of Texas and the United States as a whole.

Featured presenters will provide dialogue and analysis regarding state and federal transportation decisions, and their impact on Northeast Tarrant County as well as the North Texas region.
