Summer El-Shahawy joined Community Impact as a Multiplatform Journalist in January 2022. She curates the daily newsletters for Frisco, McKinney, Plano, Richardson, and Lake-Highlands | Lakewood. Her previous career experience includes working as a Features Writer with The Idle Class Magazine in Northwest Arkansas and as a News Reporter with The Arkansas Traveler. She is a Plano native and 2020 graduate of The University of Arkansas.
