Hawaiian Falls Waterparks named Boris Milensky as the new general manager of the Pflugerville location March 9.

Milensky is a longtime resident of Pflugerville and has more than 25 years of experience in facility management and the food and beverage industry.

According to a statement issued by Pflugerville Community Development Corp. Director Amy Madison, “Boris Milensky is a great addition to the Hawaiian Falls leadership team. His deep Pflugerville roots, combined with his professional background and experience, will take this great local employer to a new level.”

Milensky previously worked for LSG-Sky Chefs, and he also worked at Austin-Bergstrom Municipal Airport for Delaware North, Inc./Sports Service. His work experience also includes work at Minute Maid Park in Houston and Globe Life Park in Arlington.

“My wife and I have lived here since 1994. We’ve been here a long time, and we’re excited to be a part of the growth and excitement that’s happened here in Pflugerville,” Milensky said. “This career opportunity allows me to participate in that growth and be more involved with the community at a much higher level than just a resident level. I have a vested interest in making the park as successful as it can be, both as a resident and as general manager.”

Hawaiian Falls leases the facility from the PCDC as part of a public-private partnership, and the entertainment destination is entering its third season of operation.

“We start opening weekends only May 13, and then we go every day starting Memorial Day weekend,” Milensky said.
