The company expects to employ about 100 employees at its office in Frisco. A portion of those employees will relocate from California.

The company's new headquarters at 3001 Dallas Parkway will take over eight stories and 19,000 square feet of office and meeting space. It will also include a 6,000-square-foot test kitchen and store front.

The lease on Jamba Juice's current headquarters in Emeryville, California, is set to expire at the end of 2016.

“The state of Texas meets all of these criteria and Frisco is a community committed to healthy living that aligns closely with our overall mission,” Jamba Inc. CEO David A. Pace said in a statement.

Jamba Juice will be receiving economic incentives from the city and the state to move to North Texas, according to a news release.

“The city of Frisco is proud to welcome Jamba Inc. as one of our newest corporate citizens, and I know the company’s culture of health and wellness will have a positive impact on Frisco,” Frisco Mayor Maher Maso said in a statement.
