Meeting changes
The commissioners unanimously voted to cancel the March 14 meeting. Precinct 2 Commissioner Cynthia Long said that most schools, including Georgetown ISD, will be on spring break during that time. Court will resume its regularly schedule with a March 21 meeting.
Road closures
Robert Daigh, the county's senior director of infrastructure, said two roads in the county are closed due to downed power lines:
- CR 483 at CR 453
- CR 435 at CR 483
Daigh also said four roads are currently closed due to low water crossings:
- CR 305
- CR 258 at Tejas Park
- CR 177
- Spears Ranch Road/CR 305
