The Wesleyan at Estrella senior living center expansion is expected to be completed this summer. The center is adding 117 independent-living apartments, six cottage duplex units and 24 assisted-living units as well as a selection of amenities, including a heated swimming pool, community ballroom, dining venues, an art studio, a hobby workshop, fitness center and hair salon. The improvements will also include a two-story high sky bridge to connect the center’s two buildings.

Reservations are still being taken, said Mandy Hastings, director of marketing for The Wesleyan at Estrella.

Hastings said the center also plans to add an additional 16 cottage duplex units; however, a construction start date for those has not been set.
