This spring new Tiff’s Treats locations will open in Cedar Park, The Woodlands and San Antonio.

The Austin-based company announced Jan. 12 it is also planning its first location outside of Texas, which will open in late 2016. However, a specific date and city have not yet been announced.

Leon and Tiffany Chen founded Tiff’s Treats in 1999 while they were sophomores at The University of Texas. The business was the first in the nation to deliver freshly baked cookies and brownies to customers. Throughout 17 years Tiff’s Treats has expanded to 19 locations in the Austin, Dallas-Fort-Worth, Houston and San Antonio areas.

In Cedar Park the new Tiff’s Treats location will be located in the Cedar Park Town Center shopping plaza in a retail strip in front of At Home, at 4701A Toll 183A, Ste. B.

The Woodlands store will be located at 1620 Research Forest Drive, Ste. 150.

The new San Antonio location will be 1221 Broadway St., Ste. 114.

In a Jan. 12 statement, Tiff’s Treats co-founder Leon Chen said the expansion is a response to customer demand.

“As long as more people want more of our cookies, we’ll keep opening up new stores,” Chen said. “Our growth is 100 [percent] us meeting customer demand, which continues to expand.”

By the end of 2016, Tiff’s Treats will have 22 stores in Texas, along with one outside the state.  In 2015 more investors were attracted to the company’s success and are financing this year’s growth with more than $14 million, according to the company’s statement.
