There are 31 accredited chambers of commerce in the State of Texas, and the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce is now one of 12 in the state to be awarded 5-star accreditation.

“A special thanks for this award goes to Cory Halliburton, who chaired our ‘Lone Star Project,’ with the goal of taking the Grapevine Chamber from 4-Star to 5-Star Accreditation,” says RaDonna Hessel, Grapevine Chamber of Commerce CEO. “This accreditation took a great deal of work throughout the last three years to implement changes within the nine areas of focus, meet the requirements and complete the accreditation process. The Grapevine Chamber, representing this area’s business community, is now in the top 1 percent of chambers of commerce in the United States.”

Local and regional chambers are rated with either “Accredited,” “Accredited with 3 Stars,” “Accredited with 4 Stars,” or “Accredited with 5 Stars.” State chambers are rated “Accredited State Chamber” or “Accredited State Chamber with Distinction.” The final determination is made by the accrediting board, a committee of U.S. Chamber board members and chamber CEOs from across the country.
