Bar-Bid-Cue Auction
The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce hosted its 34th annual fundraising auction July 24 at Reunion Ranch, 850 CR 255.
Along with silent and live auctions the event featured games, including the Carrots for Karats game in which participants purchase carrots to exchange for pieces of carrot cake in hopes of finding the one piece that includes a token redeemable for a pair of diamond earrings.
Carver Elementary School grand opening
Georgetown ISD celebrated the opening of the new Carver Elementary School campus with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration July 28.
