Following a May 28 groundbreaking, the High 5 entertainment venue is on schedule for an end-of-the-year opening at the Oaks at Lakeway commercial center, 1502 S. RR 620, Lakeway.

The two-story, 47,000-square-foot project will house 28 bowling lanes with 16 downstairs lanes dedicated to families and 12 upscale lanes on the second floor, Vice President of Marketing Jennifer Emley said. An arcade, a laser tag area, restaurant, cocktail lounge and outdoor dining area with a firepit will complete the venue, she said.

Four private event rooms with a capacity for more than 100 guests will be available as well, she said.

“High 5 brings western Travis County residents a multi-venue family entertainment and celebration center focused on world-class service and experience,” Emley said.

Various local families are invested in the project, she said.
