Sport Clips, a sports-themed hair-care franchise for men and boys, recently expanded its corporate headquarters in Georgetown.

Gordon Logan, founder and CEO, said the company will finish moving several departments in May into a 10,000-square-foot building at 201 Briarwood Drive, making this the fourth building the company owns in Georgetown.

“The expanding is necessary for the years to come,” he said. “This is a little bit more than we need today, but we are looking a few years out to the future, so we’ll be growing into it as time goes on.”

The franchise has 888 stores in the United States and projects to have 1,000 by the end of the year, Logan said.

“We wanted to make sure we are staying ahead of the power curve and have all the support people in place and the resources necessary for our stores as we grow,” he said.
